Founding President
As I review my association with FJMC from 1948 onwards, the most gratifying experience seems to be the formation and growth of AFJOG.
During the past ten years, your association has done for its members more than what could be imagined. It has provided closer personal contact between FJ graduates through entertainment, continuing education & outreach programmes.
I am truly proud to have been one of its founder members, its president and advisor over the years.
Congratulations on completion of a glorious decade of AFJOG.
Best wishes,
Prof.
Dr. Nabiha Hassan
Outgoing President
I am a proud alumni of Fatima Jinnah Medical University and now president of Association of Fatima Jinnah Old Graduates (AFJOG) – an organization with the most skilled, dedicated and passionate team of people I have experienced in my 55 years' career. In the very challenging environment of today, funding constraints and ever-growing patient care needs have stretched our health centers beyond their capacity. The support of our large community inspires us to remain steadfast in our goal to bring positive change and continuously improve patient care.
Our ability to do so is very greatly influenced by the incredible support and generosity of our donors. It is their ongoing philanthropic support that has helped us to innovate and provide the highest standards of care possible for nearly 55,000 to 60,000 patients every year.
I urge you all, especially the young doctors to visit our Health centers, schools and vocational training centers to learn more about our multi-faceted activities. Your donations and voluntary work are always instrumental in helping us provide the best possible care to the patients and the children.
I thank all our donors whose contributions help to provide patients life saving care and quality education to children.
Sincerely yours,
President,
Dr.Mussarat Suhail
Former President
I am extremely honored to be elected President of AFJOG; an association that I have been a part of and served proudly since its inception in many capacities.
As I look back over the years, I marvel at the achievements of my fellow female physicians who with their initiative and proactive thought process have helped create an association, which is dedicated solely to serve the under privileged members of our community. The selfless approach and endless commitment shown by my peers has made AFJOG a tremendous success and a proud contributor towards the betterment of society; whether it be through providing free health care & education to the poor or by supporting our hospitals through whatever means necessary.
The sincere and transparent approach adopted
by AFJOG has enabled it to become a leading charitable
organization with the general public donating generously and
with complete confidence that through their valuable
contributions to AFJOG they are also playing their part in
alleviating the plight of the under privileged. I would
also like to take this opportunity to thank our donors without
whom our efforts would not have reached these levels of
success.
I look forward to taking the good work of my predecessors
forward and to serve this great association with distinction.
I thank you all for the continued support over the years and am counting on you to remain engaged and involved with the AFJOG.
A Touch of Care and Hope is operated by a group of dedicated Members from all walks of life who take pride in supporting programmes that support in health and children education. I am very grateful to our Members, Volunteers and Sponsors – the pillars of AFJOG. Thank you for your continued support and generosity and for entering this new chapter with us.
Support with a smile! Together, we can make it happen!
Sincerely,
Prof. Mussarrat
